In collaboration with CID, Manton, and Shaun’s Custom Alloy, we’ve refined the new LS-CR platform to meet the demands of maximum-effort small block class racers. At the core of this engine are CID’s LS-CR cylinder heads—capable of flowing over 500 CFM—delivering the airflow required for elite-level performance.
Ideally suited for LDR and X275 combinations running a single turbo, the LS-CR is also an exceptional foundation for ultra-competitive twin-turbo builds targeting deep into the 3-second zone.
By pairing a billet block with cast cylinder heads, this platform complies with class rules that prohibit full billet combinations. It also enables LDR and X275 competitors to take advantage of weight breaks offered specifically for cast head configurations.
